About Us

Moonlighter Enterprises has been in existence since 1973. The corporation began as a retail and wholesale store buying freight overage and salvage from numerous local and regional trucking companies. This trucking freight salvage was then sold out of our store located 30 miles north of the Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls area. In May 1988, the corporation purchased Berg Trucking from Art Berg and began operating as Moonlighter Express. We closed the store in 1999 to be able to focus solely on trucking.

Many changes have occurred since then. We started with a rented six door terminal and three trucks delivering freight for two regional carriers. Two years later, we purchased our own 12 door terminal and added an additional 12 doors. We now have 25 employees, 16 trucks, and deliver freight for 13 regional and national carriers in addition to delivering our own freight.

In 1999, we decided to expand our trucking service area. With the help of our dedicated sales staff, quality marketing, and service partners, Moonlighter Express can provide next day trucking service to and from Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Chicago. We also offer trucking service to other points in Illinois, Iowa, and Indiana with the help of our reliable trucking service partners.
